Bro it can be used as a real currency and in some ways it's better than FIAT. It makes sense that it could be "bought" with another currency. The fluctuation in price just reflects how much people want it at that moment.

This is actually true.

I'm also too smart to get a gf. Why? Because people mate from their own IQ range. The 80-110 range is the most common, so people in that range find a gf more easily. What's more, women's IQ is actually more centered around 100 than men's. With men there's more variance: more idiots and more genii.

What if BTC is actually good and the price is low only because normies are too dumb to understand its importance?
At least consider this possibility because it's very likely.
Afterall, normies are too stupid to get off Big Tech sites like Youtube and Facebook even though there are private alternatives like Mastodon. They use Chrome when there's Brave. etc

>> No.52382190

Explain the importance of bitcoin. The tech can be cloned (as it will be with CBDC). Usage hasn't taken off (slow and expensive). It's proven not to be a hedge against inflation. I could go on...

>> No.52382242

>The tech can be cloned
This is true but it's also the case with almost anything.
People say Youtube is amazing but it's really just a white blank page with almost nothing in it, because everything was user-generated. We could create a million copies of Youtube but nobody would use them, they'd just go back to the Google-owned data harvesting hellhole - because everyone else is there too.
BTC will matter the most when countries will implement shit like the digital euro and start tracking people's buying habits, even limiting them. It's likely that welfare will be paid in digital euro so the welfare center can make sure it's not being used to buy alcohol and drugs, but food instead. This is when the unemployed person will realize that with BTC he can keep buying alcohol and drugs.

>> No.52382301

>>52382242
>person will realize that with BTC he can keep buying alcohol and drugs
And then everyone will flock the bitcoin and the price will become volatile, making it useless for regular small purchases. Why wouldn't someone just clone a stable coin (pinned to the euro-CBDC) and use that? It would be even easier to clone a stable coin when it's 1-1 with another tokenised currency.

This. I would also encourage everyone who is a bitcoin skeptic and missing the big picture to go and read the Sovereign Individual.

The coming age of individual sovereignity is upon us and those who are smart enough to see the implications are already way ahead of us. If you can manage to get a skillset which makes you valuable enough and diversify your money so that you have some in stocks, some in property and some in BTC, you will do well in the coming volatile future. Some people are already managing to work remotely in areas which are cheap, while racking up big paychecks, which additionally if put in BTC or other cryptos can not be taxed or followed easily.

If you consider what impact this will have for the next decades or century, this will lead to massive change in societal structure. I for one, have a very nice life where I can work remotely and do home office up to 50-100% of the week. While I might not be yet completely independent from my work place, I am well situated to use my skillset to go independent online and perhaps eventually getting paid in BTC for my work, it will allow me to be even more free from the corrupt fiat system. The same can not be said with most other professions, and trade, technical and engineering people will benefit the most from this.

Get gud and stack sats.
