Should i get a credit card?

Thinking of buying some expensive things, credit card allows me to spread it over 24 months if i want to.

Only use a card with a limit lower than your monthly spending, and pay if off every month. If you can't trust yourself to do that, don't get one.

The only long-term debt you should have is on a home. And even that is not ideal albeit necessary in today's environment.

i wouldnt be getting a shitty basic credit card, one with actual benefits may serve beneficial in handling spending but also building up a credit score...and ofcourse, I would never put myself into a position where I couldnt pay the monthly minimum.
