Because that's just how modern financing works and has done for many decades, it's what the worlds economy is built on. There are bull and bear markets, money is free flowing and cheap, interest rates are low, houses rise, stocks rise, banks make degen plays, printer goes brrr. Eventually it catches up with everyone and a reversal is made before the entire system implodes. Money is expensive, capital flees, markets cool off and dump. Until eventually the cycle repeats itself and you're back in a bull market. Crypto is here to stay and when the macro economic outlook improves it will pump just like all other markets will.

No, implosion means a complete ruin of the financial system, run away inflation, banks defaulting en masse, supply chains destroyed etc. Aka getting sent back to the medieval times where all you can hope for each day is to gather enough money for a single meal. This will basically never happen in any modern developed financial nation.

>what says we won't be broke and completely penniless before it improves?
I don't see why you would be broke and penniless after 5% rate hikes and 10% inflation. Sure times are much tougher, bills are higher and everything costs more, but assuming you have a job you can survive. Eventually inflation will be under control, rates will drop and capital will flow once again into markets.

Because interest rates aren't the only thing impacting a bullrun anon. You have other macro economy factors, and some more minor. Then you have stuff like twitter becoming crypto friendly and anything that helps for massive adoption of the service. If tomorrow more and more people learn about DeFi and start, for example, using dextools, then it will be quite beneficial for all tokens, thus starting a potential bullrun. That, and the halvings

Payment gateways have become a greatly popular solution for their ability to replicate the traditional debit and credit card acceptance processes.
