I really can't grasp the iphone thing. A few months ago i decided i needed more storage and a better camera and i bought a reconditioned, in excellent condition Samsung Galaxy S10 for £180 which was more than i'd normally spend. The camera is amazing, it's fast af and has tons of memory. I'm pretty well off but there's no way i could justify to myself spending £1000 on a phone. What makes people crave these things so much? 13 Pro Max 256Gb here, I use my phone more than a laptop. If you're used to apple's UI then Android is absolute hell to operate. Plus iOS is a lot safer to average attacks than Android. I do hate and I mean hate Apple's banning of telegram channels. The ios version gives Apple's jews control over what channels I can read.

There's a network effect. Apple products are really well integrated with each other, so when you or your friends have apple products, it's easier to just keep buying within the brand. Also, most people are terrified of the slightest change. I've had people tell me they are afraid to change brands because they don't know how to use android, as if it takes special skill to look at the screen and touch the button with the label that describes what you want to do.

I like the convenience of FaceTime as a standard inbuilt function. Have an iPhone 12 and intend to use this for atleast another 5 years minimum, my last phone before the 12 was an obamaphone and my last phone before that had an antenna on it, no need for expensive yearly upgrades when I can make a big noticeable upgrade once a decade.
