1 would immediately should out if he could see 2 of the same colour
since 1 doesn't shout, 2 knows 1 sees 1 of each colour, so he shouts the opposite of the colour in front of him
what a shit judge

Number 2.

He knows that number 3 is black and that number 1 is behind them. At the beginning of the experiment he simply waits a few seconds to see if Number 1 shouts "I am wearing a white hat!" If he does, he knows this is because Number 1 has observed himself and Number 3 wearing black hats and therefore deduced he is wearing white.

But Number 2 does not hear Number 1 shout and he knows why: Number 1 sees two different color hats in front of him which gives him no clue as to his own hat. Number 2 can therefore deduce from 1's silence that his own hat is different from Number 3's black hat and therefore must be white.

Only a literal pantsu-on-head retard would invest $200k in an undergrad education. Stay in state and avoid private colleges, literally nobody gives a shit where you got your degree from, all accredited colleges have to meet the same standards for their degree programs. Attend a community college @ like $150 a credit hour the first couple years to knock out your gen eds, then transfer to a 4 year uni (just DYOR ahead of time and be sure the schools have agreements where the credits transfer at a 1:1 ratio, because that's not always guaranteed). Rent off campus and don't pay the exorbitant costs the uni wants for on-campus housing. Be frugal with textbook purchases and other expenses, don't just go to the campus bookstore and pay many times what you could rent or buy the textbooks used for (although it's harder these days with publisher's trying to jew people these days with online-only content allowing them to control and shut down the secondary market). Just because a bank is willing to give you an unlimited line of credit for tuition and educational expenses doesn't mean you need to go out and blow $2k on some Macbook when a $300 laptop will take notes just as well. etc.

Workload was piss easy and I made out with 4 figure debt which wasn’t too bad. The degree itself is useless on its own, but college gave me an opportunity to leave my home town and meet new people. I’ve learned how to become a responsible adult and manage my time and money, and witnessed what happens to those who don’t.
I could’ve learned that without college and moved out on my own, but I wouldn’t have done it back then.

Got my BA in accounting helped with financial literacy, but I learned about what I want to do in the stock market through trial and error on my own early on and after the completion of my degree. I also watched a lot of finance videos, some stuff about discounting cash flows n what not. I advise watching martin shkreli lessons on youtube. Just the first 5 finance lessons. The rest are too advanced for people that aren't going to trade very seriously.
Im a truck driver now though. Least I'm able to read companies and determine whether they're healthy enough for me to invest in them. I'm fine with my choice cause college was somewhat free (scholarships, job, parents) and graduated with no debt. I think the way I think right now is a great version of this concious mind so i would not do anything over again. If I decided to pursue women during those times Id probably not be the person I am now so I can't regret it.

I am a political science graduate, currently unemployed and have not worked for a month during the last five years of my studies. The funny thing about all this is that after getting my masters a friend of mine came to me and told me that I would not find any kind of future in political science and that I should better invest in cryptocurrencies or any kind of major fund that could make me rich now, before I die of inanition or worse, end up working in a mcdonalds. That was four months ago, where I had only student debt. Currently I sit on a total pile of $150k to my name and a car. The catch? 2 would be first to shout, because 1 not shouting immediately means that 2 and 3 are different colours and 2 can see that 3 is black, so he must be white. 3 can then deduce that he must be black, so he shouts next.

However, as far as I can work out, there is no way for 1 and 4 to ever be certain of their own hats. 4 has no way of knowing his hat colour except by process of elimination, once the other three have shouted the one that remains must be his. Similarly, 1 has the most information of anyone in the group - 2 and 3 are only able to infer their own colours because him staying silent communicates his awareness of their differing colours - and it still isn't enough to determine his own colour. He knows that there's one black and one white left, but he can't see his hat and he can't see 4's, and neither can anyone else. So I think they're stuck, and the puzzle is impossible.
