I spend £10 per week on National Lottery instant win games. What should I do with this money instead for a reasonable return? I can maybe up it to £20 a week or spend £80 a month in one go if that’s more sensible.

I intend to, but I would quite like to put the money to some use as I have been able to afford it all these years without missing it. I could just put it in a savings account but I was curious if /biz/ had any better suggestions.

Learn TA and try out futures trading? At least you will have a chance to actually make money.

Yeah, save up 100 and then short with 30x leverage every month and pray you get it right.

Thanks anon, that sounds like a hassle free way to save and I get my gambling fix too. With interest rates so crap on savings accounts not earning interest isn’t that big a deal.

>> No.51598001

If you just want a gambling fix, buy some highly leveraged instrument. For example right now you could buy a call option for SPY to reach $378 by the end of trading on Monday for $12.
Here's the option chain, note the "Bid" column needs to be multiplied by 100:

Options have better average outcomes than the lottery, but its still gambling so uhh dont let it make your addiction worse.

Probably a little too much risk. I would actually like to save. Premium bonds sounds ideal. Thanks for the suggestion though.

It should come as no surprise that the organizations will stick with them and use their product if they can offer a superior solution imo.
