Will prefabs ever catch on, or will the Housing Jew guarantee that we're never allowed to live in these because they'll hurt real estate prices?

You can own the microhome, you just have to pay rent for the land it's on.

Honestly, probably. I expect prefab condo units to pop up on empty urban lots in the next 10-20 years or so. Probably 2-3 high with 6-12 units on a lot. They'll mostly be in gentrifying peripheral areas of major cities.

They already have those. You know what happens to them?

They absolutely will catch on. People dont want to build shit, let alone smotheing big like houses. Prefab housing is the path of least resistance. Eventually humanity's laziness will default to prefab house manufacturing.

There are some nice prefabs homes that look like normal single family homes.

I hate how this kind of "affordable housing" is never actually affordable, it's always slightly above market rate except for the poorfaggot benefit collectors they shove into them for below market rent. if you're actually trying to save money on housing older houses/apartments in less developed areas are always a better deal.

I don't understand why they're not affordable. Is the manufacturer taking in tons of profit, or is this just how expensive it is to build and ship? Pic is $220k, and just under 500 SF, which is about $447/SF, and this obviously doesn't even include the land.

With the current rate of population decline housing won't be a problem.
Unless they bring in a bunch of Africans which is basically the only place still producing people.

I think there should be communities of these near colleges.
Rent them out for $500 or $600 a month. College students would be more than happy to pay something that cheap and they get their first place to their selves

man thats retarded.

Its not affordable because of economies of scale is my guess. The dream of super cheap houses like this is totally possible but you would need enough demand to justify building some pretty hard core house factory.
