Anon, the Russians have to buy artillery shells off the north koreans. The Moscova sank because all 3 of its anti missile systems were inoperable. Just today, Putin had to get on international TV and basically read CCP talking points without even changing the syntax to state that he's making tons of concessions to the Chinese just for the right to sell them raw commodities at a discount. Russia is now more of a satrapy of China than NK has ever been. And all their previous allies are now finding that Russia can barely prosecute its own wars, and their enemies are starting to get bold; just look at Azerbaijan.

Russia only got to throw its weight around because of its Soviet nuclear stockpile. Its now an open question of whether or not the Russian nuclear arsenal still actually functions. Especially since the more technologically involved something is, the more maintenance it needs. Which raises a fun question. If they tried to launch against European nations, and the launches failed, we'd detect it. What is the proper response to a state that attempted to a first use strike but fucked it up?
