Large part of that is that he recognizes that SOL is a darling of VC's and is extremely likely to survive the regulation crackdown.
He's openly acknowledged that if SOL doesn't get its performance issues under control, it won't survive the bear market.

Macro is so obviously stacked against crypto there is no good news and there are no "gems". Papa Powell stopped making money cheap and killed the altcoin market for the foreseeable future.
