It's a fucking bear market. The entire economy is shit. Exchanges make money via trading volume and liquidations. If trading volume slows, profit goes down. Simple as. If it's a bull market everyone's making money because they're trading and exchanges are stacking it up on volume and liquidations and laughing the whole way to the bank.

If they don't support the burn tax for trading volume on LUNC, all of that momentum (AND TRADING FEES) goes away. People will lose motivation to trade LUNC because they think it'll take forever to burn the supply down to where it needs to be, and while we will inevitably get the supply down, this is crypto and people want things yesterday. This means exchanges will profit LESS from not supporting the burn tax on trading volume then if they DID support the burn tax on trading volume, because trading and hype would go into overdrive because people finally see a means to make it in this shit red market that's been dumping for almost a year. That's great for profits.

But there's still that pesky 1.2% burn tax that exchanges would have to sacrifice to the burn. If only there was some way they could profit from that... oh wait they fucking can. They can just buy a fuck ton of LUNC supply RIGHT NOW while it's cheap as fuck (and also raising the price for customers later in the process... why do you think the price is moving so much? It ain't just retail, I guarantee you that), and then come out as supporting the burn tax on trading volume (yay! hurray! yippee! wagmi! cexes are heroes!). Meanwhile their users will pay more real $$$ to buy less LUNC (because the cexes moved the price up), and instead of the cex buying from the market at current price they can just send a portion from the supply they already bought to the burn wallet on the cheap and pocket the difference as pure profit. Everyone wins. Burn happens, CEX makes hella stacks, we make it, price goes up, hurray.
