its worth learning but holy fuck the documentation is a cluster fuck of retarded shit. They made it so people that basically understand c and c++ at the core of memory management and some crypto programming can get in. Also, async programming is fucking aids. Im coding in motoko now, and defi is doable but the work you have to do to get it properly working is nigger tier. However, its more than doable and still more scalable then some of the other shitchains. Its just a pain in the nigger.

There’s a link posted on seachan in /biz/ thread somewhere. Yeah the documentation is a cluster fuck though. It’s not as bad as solidity though in the early days. The problem is the motoko playground needs something like cryptozombies. But I don’t think they care about newbies to development trying to get into icp at the moment. Maybe psychedelic or third party group will build something similar one day
