Who else is accumulating slabs of vintage Pokémon cards during the TCG bear market? For me, it’s Jungle Pikachu 1st Edition. It used to be $600-$1000 during the bubble peak, and now it’s selling for $150ish. I’m hoarding as much as I can for the next bull cycle.

eBay is the main place, followed by Mercari. Im also in some Facebook Pokémon marketplace groups, but the people there tend to highball

Only PSA 10 since I am buying a high pop common card. There are like 2300 PSA 10s of the 1st edition jungle Pikachu. If you’re going for holographic cards that are more scarce, for example an unlimited base set Charizard, you could go for 9’s or even 8’s. The 10s will always appreciate more though.
