the reported volume on the BTC/USDT futures is ~567k BTC which is $11 billion, more than Binance... it goes like this for every trading pair

I work there. It's not Nexo's exchange. It is linked to all major exchanges and it uses their liquidity, hence the big volume

interesting... that would possibly add up... it's still very weird to present it like this, it should two separate volumes, one for Nexo and the aggregated volume

Why would you post trade volumes for other exchanges, that doesn’t represent the volume/liquidity your customers could expect.

Makes zero sense…

>> No.51180856

Dude Binance has the volume for the lowest of the low shitcoins every single moment. About ~2 months ago something went "wrong" with their "system" and the real volume was revealed (only every ~15 minutes those shitcoins had any price action).

It's manipulated by the biggest exchange and you wonder about the small ones.

source: my job is to monitor the price action almost 24/7.

are we talking 2017 shitcoins like bitcoin diamond? do you have any article/screenshot to back this up? Still, binance volume is about 3x that of coinbase which sounds plausible for the amount of users they have.

go find the candles of pairs from ~13 March 2022, most of them "broke" and gave price action only every few minutes instead of always every 1min.

I'm pretty sure it's manipulated volume that was accidentally "turned off" because the biggest coins weren't affected by the "bug".
