I’ve worked parallel to HR my entire career. They are the dumbest fucking people. They routinely fuck shit up and blame everyone else; if you don’t get things from them in writing (and trust they will mostly try to call you or speak in person) you’re eventually getting screwed. They act like they’re there to protect EEs; they’re there to protect their boss. Period.
