Why aren't you mining crypto?

Yes I'm running a PoS validator and the government won't need to know about it

Why mine when you can stake completely risk-free, without having to purchase any hardware, instead?

I'm dabbling in CPU mining with Webcash because it is a pretty easy entry and their group on their discord is helpful gg/3FxhAXX3 plus they already have wallets set up and it's flying under the radar. When I tried mining BTC a couple years ago, it was too late unless you had rigs and basically free electricity, so this is the best option for me.

hm ok, seems like cpu mining is still an option with some projects, which avoids the problem mentioned by >>51087598

cus the staking assets are deflationary = there's more and more of them flooding the markets, they get created out of thin air, and thus the value of such tokens is going down on the long run

POS is a scam to take satoshis from you

have a nice day

Yeah, plus you can start today with your own laptop. There's a big writeup about Webcash at bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5408873.0 if you're thinking about jumping into mining anon

Takes too much energy, requires me to have a device left on all the time, gets hot, large up front sunk costs, unlikely to have a real future.
Instead, I "mine" crpyto by validating PoS chain such as AVAX. Join the 22nd century already boomer.

Well with staking I have to have all my crypto on a hot wallet connected to the internet to earn money. With mining I... don't.

Webcash seems like a decent project, idk if it will take off. It's a good way to avoid privacy/opsec problems that come with blockchain mining tho.

Why would I waste electricity to "mine" gayfaggotcoins?

>> No.51089526

that project looks promising. I can't say if it will be a success... Ill mine some coin just in case
