There's not even 0 hype, there's negative hype around Chainlink. Meaning, LINK's reputation is so tainted through by all the FUD, the dumping, the horrible price action during the bullrun, that nobody who isn't already holding LINK is gonna care about any announcements that could be made. Add to that that staking will be exclusive to a closed circle of early holders and node operators so there's literally no point for outsiders to even get a share of the yield opportunity. The token will crab forever, it lived through its hype cycle and it's dead in the water now. It's like the old shitcoins like Dash, XEM, NEO, etc. All these coins had their biggest developments after their hype cycle but it didn't do anything for them nobody cares.
