So what's gonna happen, /biz/? Is the price going to jump because of the normalfags wanting a bitpenny from mummy for christmas? Or is it going to crash because of nerdfags cashing out for christmas funds? Discuss.

Half of my family is buying BTC for eachother for christmas. these are fucking boomers we are talking about here, the same boomers that laughed at me in 2012 when I said bitcoin will be the future. I'll accept the BTC from them but im still bitter

Ideally all the normies buy straight into BTC and pump the living shit out of it so I can buy everything else on discount.

Also
> lol at gifting BTC to family members
> "anon thanks for the bitcoin, I've heard a lot about it"
> "hey anon, can you help me, I don't know what I'm doing"
> "ANON, BITCOIN IS CRASHING SHOULD I SELL IT"
> "anon, why can't I cash out??"

Well from my craigslist experience people get desperate after the holidays. Like the best time to lowball people on craigslist is in January and February when people are hard up for cash from spending too much at the holidays. You can usually get high-end shit for a fraction of the cost that time of year. So if this logic applies to bitcoin the dump will happen after new year's eve. But you're also talking about 2 different demographics. Bitcoin "old money" might cash out a bit before the holidays, Bitcoin "new money" will be buying in during and after Christmas after their neet relatives tell them about crypto like what we saw during thanksgiving. But members of both groups will probably get hard up for cash when January hits.
