Is it possible to create an NFT that can only go up?

>> No.50944717

Re-route royalty fees to auto-buy floor every 24 hours?

If an NFT is a smart contract then, sure. It could be programmed to only be able to be sold for higher than it was bought. That doesn't mean you'll be able to sell it for more than it was bought. It just means the last bagholder will never be able to sell it. A singleplayer pyramid scheme if you will.

No. NFTs have no intrinsic value.

That said, it's possible to create many different NFTs for people to buy- much like how Apple creates new phones every year, even though they're functionally the same damn thing.

Looks like that’s exactly what onlyups.xyz does. It very under the radar though, you have to match orders via website or wait until somebody does. But that’s the only way to do it if you want it on opensea.

Add this

>>50944717
>Re-route royalty fees to auto-buy floor every 24 hours?

To this

>>50944780
>It could be programmed to only be able to be sold for higher than it was bought.

Then add the secret sauce and you have it right there.

One issue is that someone could wrap it on emblem to sell it lower though.

Also the auto-bought floor could be burned. Supply lowering always helps pumpamentals.

Yeah similar to an ERC20 honeypot. You can make an NFT with one address whitelisted as being able to sell and every other address blacklisted. Then you can probably sucker people into buying some of them up before they realize they can't sell them, and if you don't sell them lower then the chart would only show it going up. It'll be shortly lived though and most likely you won't even trick anyone so not really worth it lmao.

>>50944717
Wouldn't really work cause you'd only be taking like 5% of every sale. Would only be able to buy 1 floor NFT for every 20 purchased if you're lucky. When people recognize that the project is just giving free exit liquidity they'll probably exploit that.

>>50944889
Yeah, you could wrap them and sell the wrapped version. But nobody will even bother buying such an NFT in the first place.

>>50944900
Easier to skip royalties ad fees with Sudoswap.

>>50944984
I've seen a project do something like this before. I'll try to remember the name of it but the mechanic was if you listed your NFT at or below floor they'd purge it. Purging happened once a week I think, and they didn't even buy it from you, just straight transferred ownership to the burn address for you lmao.

>sudoswap traders: 7
>opensea traders: 16836

it’s like building a new Facebook, all the users are on opensea fren. Onlyups are trading on opensea - that’s the only way, strategically onlyupsies are bound to win bigly, only because of this fact.
