i pretty much agree with you. my degree at a "real" school helped me land a good job, but most of it was a waste of time and money. even technical degrees like engineering could be reduced to like 90 credits rather than 120-130.

Hello there failed youth, Lincoln tech here with my CompTIA A+ from 2014. Only me and 2 other students got a job in the it field and the rest went on to AutoZone. In hindsight going to community college was the cheaper solution but you live and learn. I'm currently in their computer science program. The workload is light and you can get A's with < 20hrs a week. However they provide a lot of resources and the material seems the same as what would be taught anywhere else. It's very obvious that you have to study on your own to get into tech. I don't consider it a scam. Also, plenty of successful people have gone to the school.
