Moving company's IT infrastructure to cloud/IaC.
You can learn it within 6 months and get 2 aws certs, 2 gcp certs, 2 azure certs. Certificates are about $900 in total (each ~$150). Lot's of memorizing though. You can get free materials online or get courses on udemy for $15

You will spend much more with popular hustles.

It's much easier than coding because you just fuck around with settings and codefags hate memorizing things.

You either get very lucky with side hustles or you do things that pay well, yet few want to do/learn. With this hustle you will work for a bit and then it's just monitoring

The average business has at least one legacy and business vital ERP and CRM but when they get anything over 100 staff and up you are going to have a LOT of legacy custom applications mainly accounting but could be anything from odbc to VB, invoicing to almost anything you can imagine you name it. You have never worked in IT and BTW your certs are not worth wiping your ass on. Do remember to get your professional indemnification insurance (you won't with those certs) because if you fuck up and it has a turnover of a few million a week, you are going to get sued into suicide if you stop trade. And do remember the staff don't give a fuck about you, azure or amazon, they just want the shit to click exactly like it did before you fucked around with it.

A lot of things work but aren't passive and need skills. Amazon FBA is something I considered but seems like a meme and I never tried it. Others things involve coding, settting up websites and shit of that sort, a lot of people try to start businesses and make an MVP, you can do it if you're skilled on your free time. Also information products if you're good at something, just make some pdfs or videos and sell them online.

Nothing is guaranteed money though, and requires some skill, but they have to make money otherwise there's wouldn't so many fags doing these facebook marketing, ads, funneling and all that shit

The two door shelves on my refrigerator broke recently due to too much weight on them. Looking to buy replacement shelves, I found they were trading for roughly $65-$75 per shelf on ebay. I nearly bought them, but stopped and decided to find out who produced them. Was a completely different company, and used a PDF of parts to find the part # of ones I needed. They were $22 each. Now I'm not sure how often fridge shelves break, but there seems to be a sizable opportunity here... list appliance parts on ebay and when you get a sale just buy it from the manufacturer and set the ship address to the buyer's. Pretty decent dropship opportunity, pretty sizable margin too

currently to become a Software Eng (currently working as a Productiong Eng in the third world earning 1k$/month)

Maybe I’ll enroll for a masters later on.

I'm not sure how different things are in your country, but DevOps is pretty big in the US now. Even small companies have at least one DevOps position. There's a lot of opportunity out there for sure. I would say that the barrier to entry is relatively low. You can learn everything you need from youtube or cheap online courses, including what I mentioned.

>Aside from projects to build a portfolio, what else can I do? Any advice?
I think those are the best methods to build experience while making yourself look appealing to recruiters. I think there are certifications available for some of these tools now, so that might be worth looking into. I'm not sure if the masters would be worth it. That kind of degree is definitely not required for most DevOps openings that I've seen. Again, maybe it's different where you live. If your primary goal is to leave a job you don't like for something better as soon as possible, I would keep doing what you're doing, start applying for positions when you start to feel confident and see how things go with interviewing.

Best of luck!
