Should I put my mortgage in forbearance?

I can put my mortgage in forbearance for up to 360 days due to the COVID CARES Act. I’m 1 year into a 30 year fixed mortgage with 2.99% interest. I’m planning on moving away and renting this place out in a couple years anyway. Seems like free money. What’s the catch?

My mortgage is also too good to be true, but i read all contract which was suprisingly short and no catches.
