I think they halted withdrawals for their bigger users.
They are in a hole for 3 million LINK owned by users and another 5 million borrowed from Aave.
Already lost $10 millions on this bad trade they can't close.
LINK pumped $0.5 with a 250k LINK buy order.
If they tried to buy back half of this it would bring the price to $14-15 easily.
They are stuck in a trade they can't close.

HODL and bankruptcy mode it will be then.
If LINK/ETH goes to a 0.01 valuation which should be possible on the event and CCIP release then Aave will forcefully start to liquidate them and we may discover if others did the same thing.
