Been looking online the past two days at wearable silver, more specifically, bracelets. From what I've read only a handful of jewelry designer products appreciate in value. Don't really care much for their overpriced stuff so I think I'm just going to go with Mexican silver instead. Any anons have any wearable PMs to share?

I only watched it yesterday a bit since my cousins kids were watching it while I visited, and the way Max's smug face looked reminded me of Neko Arc so much, and I wondered to myself "I haven't really seen many memes of max or ruby on the board despite meme worthy faces, I feel like Max's face in particular could be in a caption on /pmg/ with Max having bought gold or silver and Ruby on the side having invested in crypto cause it was "trendy" or whatnot"

if you're not a jeweler you won't get much more than spot for it since nobody will trust you enough to pay big money.

In terms of buying gold security is the best, since Gold is much more tempting to counterfeit than silver.
Since the premiums on minted coins are BARELY higher than what they are on commonly-faked bars I really can't see the point in buying bars unless you're one of the rich bastards that buy the giant gold bars stored at the London central bank or New York federal reserve bank (If those are even really solid gold lmao)
I can trust a modern gold britannia or Gold Maple off of a street deal but I wouldn't trust a pamp bar unless I personally watched the thing get XRF scanned first.

Umm... Dunno exactly. I never added a coin/round/bar category to the spreadsheet to do summaries (reckon I could at any point), but I'd guess maybe 400? coins, and maybe another 400 rounds, and 100 or so art bars (not factory logo stuff, though the Foster series kind of blur that line).

you know precisely (((WHO))) will sweep into these places, and /pol/ has an outlooks as to (((WHAT))) they want to implement. Been in the works since over 50 years, basically since 1971.
You'd have to purge the entirety of the current banking system and government, all governments, because people in power right now have zero interest in giving away that monopoly on power, violence and money being created out of money. All their cronies also need to be jailed. We need a rule against these schemes so hard it will last forever. Sharia actually has this in the Qur'an, we'd need to manifest something similar with DETAILED explainations what went wrong this time, for the world to see, in big fat monuments all over the world. Gotta say doesn't buying silver eagles at current prices seem kindof dumb? Sure any tax benefits from buying them is nice (Florida charges sales tax on all coins and bullion except for US currency unless you're buying over $500 worth as an example) but it doesn't seem to be that great of a deal for US silver.
>2022 silver eagle: Currently $35 on JMB (most local places are charging way more)
>one troy ounce of silver
>2006 silver proof set: Current grey sheet catalog price of $40
> 1.338 troy ounces
>an extra third of a troy ounce for only five dollars more, with much nicer looking coins
I guess the only real benefit is dealers are much more willing to buy a tube of silver eagles than they are a shitload of silver proof sets. But if you want US by weight are eagles so special?

Hard to predict. But China has over 3 trillion UDSs just sitting there losing value and acting as a financial hostage to the rogue government of the USA. They have stopped buying bonds, which means the US government needs to borrow more new currency into existence, and China is buying hard assets like farm land and gold.

And the BRICS are going to issue a competing currency. I expect it to be backed by gold, but in any event it will give other countries a chance to unload dollars and get out from under the thumb of the USA.

And the US government deficit spending continues to spiral out of control.

All of the foregoing are highly inflationary. A severe recession might kill enough bank credit to keep inflation from really going nuts for awhile. Or maybe not.

It's like watching a spinning top that is losing steam and starting to wobble. Hard to say exactly when it topples, but you know it won't be long.

what you don't realize is that they were right, the economy already died in 2008. The only reason we're not in Mad Max is because they printed trillions of dollars to keep the economy afloat, essentially zombie mode. We're headed towards an even bigger crash than the great depression... and if they try running the money printer this time, it will come at the cost of the US dollar. They money they need to print will fuck the dollar and we'll be headed for Venezuela/Zimbabwe territory. And of course, that is their only option because they will absolutely not let this country go through a "greater" depression. Historically, no society ever lets that happen, they choose to hyperinflate the currency every. single. time. this will be no different.

Silver took a few years to get to 5 dollars an ounce, then took a few years to get to 15 dollars an ounce consistently, then to 25 dollars an ounce
Once silver hits 50 an ounce, in the span of a few months or even weeks not years, it could get to 150, and then in a few days could get to 500 an ounce, and within a few hours 5000 an ounce and etc.
I feel like if silver ever gets to 50 it will be on a very thin and taught leash that could snap at any moment and cause it to run off to ridiculous prices desu

Maybe
but don't get it twisted anons
The only reason silver would get to such "prices" will not be due to any higher sudden demand exactly, but would primarily be caused by runaway inflation that will cause the Silver to US Dollar ratio to skyrocket to exponential levels and it will get out of hand before the fed or the public will admit what is going on, by then it will be too late and the depression and economic collapse will become apparent
I still hopes it doesn't happen too soon, I still need things to do, things to prepare, as I and my family don't exactly have everything in place yet to be ready enough for such an event
So I hope you anons and your families can take care until it does happen, perhaps as early as the end of this decade but hopefully pushed back into the 2030s so I can get my assets in order
>Also the only reason gold and silver are "low prices" right now is because of a "strong dollar" currently which is being compared to other global currencies whose inflation has gone past the dollar comparatively making them weaker to the us dollar and "increasing it's value" in comparison to them

I don't have a good idea, but I have a few thoughts worthy of a brainstorm session:

1) Silver's scarcity will be exposed by arbitrage of the Gold:Silver ratio (eventually).
2) Silver will cease to be a monetary metal and take the seat as one of the most important industrial metals as it is revealed to be THE most important bottle neck to a myriad of industries.
I hold onto SOME gold for the simple fact that it's role as a money metal and the basis of exchange on the international market will have gold seated as the 'top dog' asset. Similar to how the dollar is currently. This will give it an lot of purchasing power as nations' excess capacity will be sold for other goods/commodities as well as gold.

One thing to think about. Although rhodium is $30K, no one thinks of it as "top dog". I believe silver's price will creep away in a similar trajectory as Palladium. It will suddenly command a higher price and no one will be sure how it became so expensive relative to its historical price ratios. I believe the traditional G:S ratio will break. People will NOT be able to exchange gold for 80+ ounces of gold, but it may damn well start getting into the single digits. Translate that level of purchasing power on the global market and silver blows sky high relative to what we can buy it at today.
I think entire product lines will cease to be.
I think the "green energy" movement gets tossed in the trash. The bottleneck is too strong.

I didn't imply that

I hope anons and their families can be well prepared when it comes to pass

I absolutely agree that clown world needs to come to an end and bad debts/etc need to be cleared from the eocnomy. But make no mistake about it, the loss of $700BN annual trade deficit is going to hurt like a mother fucker. We could have a decade of poverty, crime, and unemployment before shit ever begins to pick back up again. And for all we know the elites will unleash a glut of fentanyl on our country just to fuck with us during times of political instability. They may even hand over a cache of weapons to partisans, or let the Mexican drug cartels loose on us.
You better believe that the possibility of the existing power structure prevails is non-zero. The good guys aren't just going to win because we are proven right.

who cares about the good guys, as long as I get to buy wives, and land that is all that matters. Hell we could even form gated communities with other silver and gold stackers and live in paradise while the normies suffer. The way I see it is that we need to leverage the currency reset the best we can to build generational wealth.

It's good to have your priorities straight anon, that leads to a clear focus goals in mind
I hope you have plans to reach those goals, and every other anon that wants to survive after the collapse
We are gonna need strong communities that will stick together through the hard times and who will be among the first to rebuild what is left
and I agree, there will be no "good guys or bad guys" when it happens, just survivors and those willing to create a new civilization rather than embrace the anarchy and chaos like animals

Guess it's slow tonight.
So it looks to me like you changes the separation a bit, pushing the whole coin back into the screen. I'm aware of the convention to do that, but I was aiming for two things:
- to lessen ghosting, which is mitigated by keeping as much as possible at the screen's plane, which means a convergence of the infornation, and
- to keep the salient bits in the best possible focus. This is accomplished also by having the most interesting bits at the screen's plane where the information converges.

By placing the middle of the coin on the screen's plane, the divergence of red and cyan is minimized to an average across the whole image. If it's all inside, what's in focus and has least ghosting is is the closest edge - not of great importance to my mind. One rule I don't break: anything touching the sides has to be inside the screen.

This of course speaks only to anaglyph. For pairs this is all irrelevant.

Here's the other pair.

will YOU do shit this time, mutt?
You won't.
Too comfy is your couch, too funny all the netflix you watch. Your hamster cage gets new food and a toy regularily.
And you even have weapons for precisely this purpose, yet wall street still exists.
Furthermore, just in case your absolute delusion were to come true and people suddenly need huge supplies of XRP to function daily with the elderly dying off because they have no idea what a ledger even is, IF it were to become the leading currency over night, replacing everything we had before, you now have a shitload of CURRENCY. Hope you can invest it into a yacht or land in time. That timeframe will be maybe a week or two, you'd have to be delusional to think the apocalyptic scenario setting you'd need for that shit to even be considered will make people suddenly trust internet funny money after all the conditioning.
You have played and read way too much cyberpunk. Go LARP on a discord server, the fact you need a trip tells me you're mentally underage and need people to recognize you across platforms. The amount of crypto cope in your stale pasta is astounding.
