Inflation will only come down slowly. You know why? Simple. The Fed has printed 5 trillion dollars and has only done a little bit of QT. Contrary to popular belief, it is not low interest rates that was the primary cause of the inflation. Nor was it supply chain issues (only contributed about 200bps of inflation). It was the flagrant money printing.

Also, the fed is still expected to increase interest rates.
Historically, the market bottomed when inflation topped. So 1+1 = the bottom isn't in.

This is a suckers rally, sure you can make money. But it's up to the individual how much they want to risk. Even shorting is made hard since the algorithms on all pairs are smarter than that of common traders.
People vastly overestimate their skill when predicting markets.

I'd suggest just DCA over time. It's low stress and requires no brain - just set up automated buys.

High price of goods in the west has nothing to do with the money supply (which the average joe doesn't have access to) and everything to do with friction in the supply chain. Western banks used supply chain friction as an excuse to raise rates so that they can swoop in with their freshly printed money to buy everything up when the average joe starts defaulting on his debt.
