Half this board wasn't even born in 2008. They've never experienced hard times. How will zoomers cope with their first recession?

Yes, we did.
Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times.
All the weak men I see dancing on miniskirts and getting the monkey virus for eating man ass are zoomers.

Nothing changed for the majority last recession. In the 1st world at least, only those holding some assets and a minority of wagies were affected. The same will probably happen here. Only people starting at numbers on a screen worrying that they won't go back up will be affected and tell everyone how bad it was. Anything that survived (the majority of companies) went back up to new ATHs within a couple of years after the bottom. If you're from a 3rd world shithole that doesn't grow it's own food and relies on gibs from the 1st world you should probably worry because foreign aid and your free food is the first thing to get axed when tax revenue drops due to 10% from about 3% of the working age population in 1st world countries becoming jobless.

Boomers are a hell of a lot stronger than zoomers. All zoomers have done is suckled on the teet of MMT their entire lives. Now the party is crashing and they have no idea what's coming.

Boomer have had free money and effectively free assets their entire lives. They did it all with the knowledge they were selling out the future of their kids and grand-kids. Kinda based, but they will be remembered as the worst generation to ever exist and become a study on what evil is for future generations.

They grew up in a time where even if the dollar had more power to purchase and you could pump gas for a living and pay off a mortgage, they didnt have the resources zoomers do now. No affirmative action, no student loan forgiveness, no galore of tech, and you had to use your brain. Im a millennial raised by boomers and it wasnt a free pass they had. I agree with how fucked up it is dealing with the purchasing power of the dollar being pretty terrible now, but you find a way to cope.

Imagine if WWII happened again tomorrow. These 20 year olds would shit themselves. We're in the good times create weak men and weak men create hard times part of the cycle again.

I agree with you but I disagree that these are still good times. I think we are at the start of bad times as the markers previously seen in bad times throughout history are there (excessive money printing, massive wealth inequalities, value destruction). Bad times are generally very short but very bad (3-10 years). I'm 50/50 on whether the millennial/zoomer generations or a later generational grouping will be the ones to start civil wars over how shit things are (some countries are starting to see this now but it remains to be seen if it becomes widespread). We have features like mass media which is effective at controlling narratives, way more technology/distractions to keep people placid and the financial games being played to prop the entire system up is way more complex and intricate than before. The can could be kicked down the road for a while longer and if AGI is birthed before the ponzi implodes they could potentially avoid another civil wars/genocides.

Have you not noticed that most mass shooters with the past 5 years have been zoomers?
