Are most people in the world npc's? Earning over 60k usd a year puts you in the top 1% of humans, earning 100k is not even hard if you live in the first world. Meanwhile you have places like Indonesia where the population is nearly 300 million and the median salary is 10k.

There are less than 1 million people in the world richer than me, I'm not even very smart probably only 85-90th percentile in my country, even without my investment windfalls, securing a job that pays 80k/yr takes little effort, Imagine being so poor you can't even shitpost on 4chan 16 hours a day. I feel kind of embarrassed by how many poor people there are

For the technological ability we have, it is embarrassing that poor people exist. Really there should only be a few hundred million humans in the world. Then every person would be important in one way or another, meaning society would have to invest hard into every person. Instead we have an underclass of brain dead wagies even in developed countries. People who we simply do not need, but we found a use for just to keep them from being criminals.
