Emptiness is symptom. It isn't about feeling good. It is about being connected with God. Fullness is just a product of it. I don't need to feel good. I just need a meaningful life committed to God. I would prefer to feel non-empty but that is secondary. Your enotiness IS a negative thing regardless of how you romanticize it/yourself.
