Why? You will be more productive and socialise with your colleagues. It's bad for your mental health to stay in your room without socialising with anyone

Same feel bud, got the same call from the office. I will resist it.
In a way a good thing, I've brought forward my search for a new job.

Just remember. You are only one disease outbreak from the office being shutdown and making pathogens is easy.

>You will be more productive
Factually false. I spend less time working in the office and it is harder to concentrate.
>socialise with your colleagues.
I have actual friends
>It's bad for your mental health to stay in your room without socialising with anyone
So in your miserable life, the only "socialising" you do is at work? You don't have friends or family? It is also much healthier to work out or hike in the time you save on commuting.

They won't call for lockdowns for the next outbreaks until the 2024 US elections.

>work for company
>in April company goes to 3 days a week in office if you are vaxxed, 2 days WFH
>charge an extra $200 a month (through health insurance premiums) for unvaxxed, but they get to stay home

>mfw i am vaxxed
>mfw i do not have any boosters however so i cant go to the office
>mfw company cant fine me $200 a month because i am vaxxed, just not boosted
>mfw working from home 5 days a week doing absolutely nothing while coworkers have to go in and do the monkey dance for corporate
>cant get fired since ill just say its because of my booster status

quit with no notice

>> No.50382167

A lot of headhunters have met and wildly exceeded their recruitment goals by receiving resumes from people, seeing the same current employer, and then reaching out to senior engineers cold on linkedin and offering them WFH.

Another rumor is that companies are relying on losing employees by returning to the office as a sort of pre-layoff.

Look for another job right now that let's you WFH every day. My girlfriend's company started making her go back into the office on Mondays and Tuesdays. A bunch of people quit so now she only has to go in on Tuesdays. Morons...

I promise you others at your company will quit because of this. Go find a remote company now and don't look back.

unvaxxed dont have to go to the office and that pisses the CEO off so their only option is to raise their health insurance premiums.

Here is the deal that i find funny though, the ones having to pay $200 extra in health insurance per month save more money than those who have to drive to the office lol!

i love this. the one thing i've discovered during all this WFH and RTO bullshit, is that all the sorry faggots who really want to RTO - mostly unlovable middle managers and dredges of society who have locked themselves into undesirable lives at home - really need everyone to come back in because they're completely friendless and devoid of any social value. the only social validation they receive is through cornering people in areas where they're otherwise compelled to be there, so they can rant about their miserable lives and receive culturally-required minimum platitudes back. getting smiles and nods and platitudes to the stupid stories they tell about their miserable kids and bitch of a wife are the closest they actually get to real social interaction in their life.
it almost makes me feel bad for them, but there's probably a reason they don't have any real friends in their normal life.

if you have any meaningful skills, there are permanently WFH/remote orgs out there that are doing the same thing your org is doing, that are willing to take you in as orgs like yours shed all their talent.
tell your current org that you'll be continuing to work from home. make them fire you. collect the unemployment you've been paying into as you casually search for one of the aforementioned WFH orgs. you'll be fine.
