All the growth and value creation since 08 has been cancelled by the value lost by the euro in the same timeframe.

The only point of contention here is whether or not Russia has the rights to the lands it claims. Since those lands are not clearly part of Russia, obviously there is a dispute.

It is generally illegal in most of the world to resolve land disputes with military action. You are expected to buy or trade for the land. Russia not being willing to set up a deal because they believe the land is already owed to them is really neither here nor there - given the chance, the stronger party in any negotiation might just claim what they want is magically owed to them. But that would be robbery, which is a crime.

In denmark, they are very misleading with the inflation numbers because they haven't adjusted the weights.
For example, food is up 10-20% depending on the food. But since food used to be a high portion of a persons expenses, it is weighted higher than say gasoline (60%), heat (150%), and electricity (50%)

Given that food is something I can control, I actually pay less for food now than I did before, but having to pay 150% more for my heat scares the shit out of me.
My plan is to save a lot of money on things I can control and then hope that I can survive without heating my house as much. I plan to only heat up the kitchen and dining room and then move my bed in there so I don't have as much to heat up, maybe get a loan for another heating source that runs on electricity instead as that is only up 50%.

Friends of the world, cooler heads need to prevail if we don't want to continue the endless (and ultimately needless) cycle of pain and suffering. We have all the technology, wisdom and ability to truly create a "pragmatopia" on this planet, weren't it for what historian and anthropologist Riane Eisler termed the "Dominator Model" of society, wherein the excessive worship of the "warrior" archetype and "might makes right" meme are enforced and seen as the way to interact with one another.

We have so much in common and any differences or animosities are mainly the cause of the crudeness of language (nevermind translating between different languages) as well as trauma incurred during our lives which we never resolved and continue to subconsciously or otherwise blame outwardly on "the other".

Indeed, we would do well to try as we can to make those near and dear to us aware of the needlessly dire situation we find ourselves in, created by a select group of psychopaths who as some might put it "made a pact with the devil" for mere power and material wealth.

Ultimately, we all have much more influence over this world through our actions than we care to admit and it is only through the ancient fear of the unknown and the luxury of apathy if we find ourselves in material comfort, that we do not exercise our abilities to bring about change. I suggest all to look within themselves and see the child they once were and how bright, mysterious and full of wonder the world truly is. Traumatized as we all might be, cynical apathy is not the answer and we all can say "we are not going to take this anymore" and together forge a world beautiful beyond our imagination. This is not merely a hypothesis, but a truth just beyond the horizon. Will shapes fate.

All the best and, as it were, Godspeed

It is fairly expensive, but not too bad compared to the UK for instance. Food is arguably the largest expense where 2L of milk costs you €3, 200g bar of chocolate can cost you €4 and a 0,5 costs about €6.5(and probably closer to €8-9 if you buy at a resturant)

Not sure how this compares to other countries like France or Germany. Sweden has notoriously cheaper food prices and a lot of Norwegians tends to cross the border to buy cheaper there, especially things like tobacco and beer.
