If inflation keeps up another year or two(it will) then the Fed will be dangerously close to raising rates that will put the Gov in defaulting on their debt. In the past we could raise rates high enough to battle inflation, with the 30+ trillion debt now, if we raise the rates past 5%, the Gov is in serious trouble. If inflation even drops the year over year high inflation that already hit now is gonna be amplified, so those 2-4% targets they will wanna hit in 1-2 years will be so much worst than they sound that everything will double-triple in price in just 10 years time.

They have no way out of this, unless a deflationary event happens that also creates a very large cash inflow for the Gov. The solution to the problem, is literally a GME squeeze. The problem is that the Fed dont want that or the Gov even though it solves their problem. That is how much they want power and control without letting anyone outside their club in or gain power.

Most of my friend's families worked in trades their whole lives so I'll tell you something about it being a young man's game.
If you're in a big city they usually have unions for construction/trades, and these are not regular unions, in fact they are probably the most powerful unions that exists with the exception being law enforcement ones. And with powerful unions comes giant payouts from the city when something goes wrong.

So the secret among these trades is to work as long as you can until your ready to retire. When that time comes you can either get "injured", or get a lawyer to say that your average boomer back pain is because of "workplace hazards". There's different ways to do it but you get the point.
If you are lucky you get a fat check as compensation and maybe even get to retire early with disability + pension for the rest of your life.

Also there's an unspoken hierarchy in the majority of these jobs, older guys become supervisors that do nothing but "supervise" the younger guys, or they get the easier jobs and leave all the back breaking work to the new guys since they are technically "apprentices" that have to put in the work before they can relax a little. Basically the apprentice is the older guys bitch until he proves himself, then he gets the privilege of having his own apprentice to boss around.

I think its because they are just as greedy as we are. They are making tons of money so there is no reason for them to stop. All the individuals are protected under corporation laws so if the fund goes bankrupt it won't do anything to the millions already in their bank accounts.

We already know how long it took them last time and who's to say they don't take their sweet time and spend a whole year doing it. Also we are not "lower class" to these people, they probably believe with all honesty that we are financial terrorists. I've worked at a lot of restaurants, mostly as a delivery guy but I've been a waiter at some too. The chillest nicest guys at any food establishment are always the mexicans that work the kitchen. They will try to bust your balls for being a gringo but if you don't act like a pussy and bust them back you'll be their favorite. They would always sneak me free food during my shifts or make me anything I wanted. Sometimes I'd give them rides home since it's along the way and would offer me beers and a cig. sometimes coke too lol.

I never really even engaged back in the playful abuse because i dont really care for social interaction, especially with coworkers. but just being able to laugh that shit off and go back to breaking your back alongside them will have you accepted into the group almost immediately.
