what would you recommend to get startted ive lost a decent amount on polkadot which was going really well for me for a little and i am struggling to figure out exactly why the auctions failed to increase the value of the coin and stuff like that?

go where they are begging you to work. i went to vegas with my gf, got a corporate gig that offered a signing bonus for game design and pricing. you realize that any system that prints money generates all value internally. the chips have no money but the craps table has money. the set theory, or economic game design the system uses is all made by someone. most these firms have the same corporate structure because they all hire the same people from the same school teaching the same thing so code in c++ a stress test a model, the more simple the better, and make as many simple models testing for different instruments failing under different conditions. all there is, is failure, so don't look for success.
