It really is that easy. To put it simply Bitcoin is a self fulfilling prophecy, too many people believe in it at this point and want it to succeed for it to fail, at least in our lifetimes. Something like Ethereum technically has more use cases and could make more gains than BTC long term but it’s also a lot more risky and not a guarantee.

>but anon, nothing is too big to fail, look at Enron, etc.

All those huge ass companies that did fail had actual people and teams behind them, and people cannot be trusted when it comes to financial interest. So yes, something like Ethereum and even exchanges like CDC, Coinbase, etc. are not too big to fail. BTC on the other hand has no central entity and is completely for the people. Sure you have Chinese miners and early whales who hold a substantial portion but that could be said about any asset class, for all intents and purposes BTC is the most decentralized asset to ever exist. I’m not saying BTC won’t be bearish for awhile and could be years before a new ATH is reached so yes you shouldn’t overexpose yourself and should make sure you have enough liquid funds to live for the upcoming years, but at some point BTC will go back up and will gradually appreciate in price long term over our lifetimes. If you have enough patience and enough money in your bank to last you for awhile, just keep stacking BTC in the meantime and you will eventually make it. Yes, it really is that simple.

everyone should try to gather at least 0.1 bitcoin, even then it would not even be enough for 1/10 of the civilized world

Depends if BTC is your only crypto investment. If it is maybe something like 5 BTC as a suicide stack and 21 BTC as the make it stack

I would say divest it a bit into XMR and one of the app blockchains like Etherium or Tezos or Ada.
