It's a fallacy to look at it as a liquid public company, it's basically private equity. You can't just dump your equity in a tiny company on the stock market and even if you somehow could list it, you'd probably have to take a 50% cut or something because people would only buy a heavy discount on an unknown thing.

That's what happens when your asset is traded mainly on an AMM and not an order book exchange. People can't list it for a price that they think is fair to sell at so they just hold. Imagine if you thought "I'd like to take profits at 10$" you'd just list it there and forget about it, and you would offer liquidity at that price point and give that information to the market
well you can't, so you just hold and wait. The price discovery has to happen on order book exchanges but lpl is listed nowhere except for Bancor and like 100$ on uniswap. Remember the dex days? Up only basically and so much freedom and actually fun price discovery where you could track single orders and wallets. Bancor is literally suppressing the price

Well it wasn't an AMM, look up what that means. Bancor is an AMM. You only have a sell and a buy Button and you just have to either accept the price you're given or you don't do the trade, no open orders. On the old dex, you could create your own buy and sell orders at any price you wanted. So again, let's say you wanted to buy 1LP at 5 ETH (4000 LPL now after the switch to ERC 20), you just put an order of exactly that amount and someone could come along and fill it at some point once the price got to that level or it would be matched with a corresponding buy sell order.

Yeah they have to bring it back or make an effort to get listed on a cex or try to coordinate the community on a order book dex by promoting one in the community channels, even if it's kind of weird because no price and trading talk and so on but at some point it's just ridiculous, you can't have your main market be a broken failing scam.
