Taxes have fucked me over many times. Could have sold a meme coin for 700k (300k after tax) but I thought that wasn’t worth it, wanted just a 3x to have almost a 1M to “make it”. All I want to make it now is 500k to own a country house, have some dividends, and be able to comfortably work part time instead of this full time healthcare for shit pay bullshit I signed myself up for. I can’t take it anymore but now I have no choice.
Got out with only 200k (90k after tax) instead. Squandered that 90k between stocks and crypto, down to 25k now.
I don’t know what’s worse, not taking the gains at the start, not keeping more safe what I did get…
I can’t even afford a cheap house with the housing market dipping. I think I need to sell now at a loss. I can’t take it all.
I debate the most painful way to kill myself every day. I think the most painful way is just to live a long life and die in old age like everyone else does, having had the suffering pile up.

I disagree.. we're on the cusp of proper games arriving soon in the block chain space that will make axie look like a Mexican finger painting. Some of these games look and play like runescape/wow/fortnite etc but they are proposing to integrate nfts (skins, items etc) and the token has utility too (purchased items etc) and the whole p2e component.
