Hmmmm, so it’s a coincidence that in the same breath, Tether market cap redeemed $500 million and some chud just fucking market sold hundreds of millions of dollars of Bitcoin all at once? What if Tether is now out of cash equivalents and only has Bitcoin left - which may have been worth it’s market cap back when Bitcoin was $60k each, but now isn’t worth nearly as much. If true, the situation is so much worse than anyone even thinks - we’ll legit see a total liquidation spike of all crypto down to zero (or close to it) temporarily.

The problem with your theory is the 2 main parties that redeem would both stop if tether was close to collapse. Alameda and Cumberland are the vast majority of the redemptions and they all have a common interest in preserving tether, even if tether can only redeem $40 billion it won't collapse.
