technically you're already like 99% of the way here with this. If you double indent line 87 so that it's within the for loop it'll plot. I don't think this is the most efficient way to go about this but if you just change that it will work. Reason is because you're assigning a new chart over the variable df1. A couple things I'd recommend for you:

don't do this. I get you're trying to just have it loop until it connects but the point of error handling is so the program can safely exit when an error is met. You can use your loop instead to either start a counter or a timer condition and then exit if it's been looping for a certain amount of time. Otherwise it's just going to keep cycling until you kill it.

just use an fstring, no need to have ' ' + 'and' + ' ' there are all, the only variable is ticker so y ou can just keep the rest of the string normal. you'd use it like f'Normalized price chart {ticker} and OTC stocks' - a lot cleaner.

nothing really "wrong" with this but for such a simple script you could probably just get away with hard coding in an array of strings. Saves you from having to open a CSV file if you're adding in new data, unless you're pulling it from somewhere and need to have it that way for some reason.

you could speed up your process a lot by just creating an SQLITE database file in place of your CSV. A couple advantages to that, you can just pull in one day of data for each stock and push it to the table, and you could have all your data living in one nice accessible place to play with. If you start using a bunch of stocks it's gonna get annoying quickly to have to wait for your API pull every single time you make a single change. You could also use that to create reference tables like what you're using the CSV for. Hope you don't think I'm nitpicking, just clear that you're trying to learn so hoping to give you some pointers.

You can see they’re using the CSV context just to write though - so their use is a little different. They also shouldn’t be using try/except that way because it’s more bad practice abusing error handling than anything. You see my last reply though right? You can just indent the plotting into your for loop and all your charts will pop up, figuring out how to improve on code you’re copying is a good practice to get into. It’ll make you a better programmer when you understand why someone’s doing something a certain way instead of just taking it as a pattern to follow.

Yeah get rid of the pass from your except statement, it’s erroring but you’re telling it to keep going, meanwhile the while loop never has “connected” changed to True so it will keep going forever
