all the greatest hedge fund managers started off as traders. Druckenmiller, soros, paul tudor jones, jim simons, covner, cohen, tepper, the list goes on. All worth many billions each. Now they have to pare back their risk because they manage outside money or have 1B+ AUM. Over a billion and it becomes harder to outperform.
