shitty firms like Celsius and 3AC are going down because they were way overleveraged on Terra, and their prolonged deaths are dragging down the rest of the market. if left totally unattended they would dump prices even lower than they already are. but that's irrational, because prices are already irrationally low, and at some point big money is gonna step in and start buying well before it all hits zero. by framing their buys as "stopping contagion" they look like less of a vulture for buying the cheap liquidated assets of their distressed rivals. only people who are mad about this are the retards getting liquidated. everyone else is enjoying the bonanza of extreme discounts before big money decides to buy back in
