First off, if you trust any advice /biz/ offers you deserve everything that happens as a result. Second, GME is a meme stock that you already missed the boat on. You might be able to make some money timing calls/puts with the frequent price fluctuations but holding it long-term without hedging carries a lot of risk. It could pay off if retards continue to hold but GME price could just as easily drop like a rock.

100% this. The short-to-float ratio before the huge squeeze was about 140%, and now it is only 23.23% as of MAY 31 2022. The SEC released a statement saying that the huge squeeze was in fact not a squeeze even though the banks stepped in to stop people from buying and several hedge funds got blown up. You point this out on their containment thread and they just seethe and call you a fed for trying to talk them down. It can be used as a case study for mass psychosis and crowd mentality.

For a stock that already had its squeeze, it’s sure taking a long fucking time to go back to the presqueeze valuation (low double digits). Why is that? Why are we still 7x above the “fair price” 18 months later when most bubbles take less than one to pop?

It has been scalping high level executives from Amazon, Chewy and others. It has been hiring Blockchain and crypto experts. It has beta launched a decentralized, non exchange owned wallet. It is expected to launch an NFT marketplace in the coming weeks. It is sitting on over $1 billion in cash with no debt except for a French COVID loan. The current chairman was the founder of Chewy and owns over 9% of the company and has been buying more at all price points. Individual investors have been direct registering their stock ownership and removing shares from the DTCC. Short interest squeeze or not seems the business expanding into NFT's for in game use by itself is bullish. Do as you will, not financial advice.
