Give people a better alternative to buy drugs online and it should go to 0.
Maybe if governments made it illegal, and everyone would be rushing to get rid of any bitcoins under their name, the value could go negative. Like people paying you to take their bitcoins off their wallets.

OR

$1 million in an irreplaceable oil/gas pipeline MLP yielding 8+% on the cusp of a red wave happening.

Which do you choose? Literally zero smart money going into crypto now because there's a generational opportunity in real productive assets.

The only producers that represent a fair deal (or a tad over valued) are Canadian ie CNQ or minerals ie MNRL.

The best deal now really are pipelines. PAA still way below pre-covid and has some of the most exposure to benefit from a drill-baby-drill thing that will happen in the Permian. They are paying debt down this year but 2023 capital returns should accelerate. $30 totally possibly by 2025.

Depends on where you live. For most of the world it's solar, mountainous areas it's hydropower, flatlands with not a lot of sun it's wind power.

At least if we're talking about electricity generation. Combustion engine usage is also dropping because MPG efficiency is going up meaning the amount of oil needed to fuel demand for cars is actually declining despite more people driving cars, EVs are so insignificant in 2022 that they don't even register on the graphs yet.

But yeah oil is stagnation because places like Africa, India and South America can't afford oil and have to use cheaper renewable power instead.

Yes yes. Maybe it can have a token physical process too. And you can access your accounts with this “stablecoin” with a plastic card. Perhaps these accounts could even lend out a fraction of this stablecoin to generate an interest rate.

Actually cheaper to make from LNG which is the major source of plastics nowadays since most electricity generation is now natural gas based instead of oil (Oil only generates 3% of electricity in the world still).

Gasoline while the largest consumption of oil for sure is a declining market due to rising MPG efficiency and a stagnating and aging global population. Retired people drive less than working people. And Cars getting ~5% more fuel efficient every year means a couple % fewer demand for gasoline every year.
