Where do you get your information regarding crypto? When you pick a coin, do you just do it at random? Do you go by the graph? Do you read about it somewhere?

There is no way I would store my money in a browser plugin, so having official standalone wallet application was the first step.
Picked the one that made more sense for me: truly private and works fast.

let me use the following anon as an example
>>49761234
I go to coinmarketcap find coin (quant here) and open up socials and source code in new tabs. I scroll down read their mission project goals and do quick searches to validate founders. Then I go to my new tabs and look at socials for activity and following. Quants following is pretty low by most standards, but maybe we're just super early. Source code is all in javascript and has little activity OOF thats a big red flag to me. This screams vaporware to me and now I will never invest in Quant.

There now you know.

Usually I'll hear about different coins here and there. And then I'll do my own research on them and see if i like them or not. You should be able to somewhat tell what is a blatant scam around here and what is just a bunch of anons being retarded on purpose.

>Telegram, social circle
Yeah the real good info is in private circles but there are tons of telegram crypto communities which can be helpful. Join them learn more about the different sides of crypto space, build up your network and hopefully you'll get invited in some private tgs.
>Coin websites
Not gonna spoonfeed you but to get you started, keep an eye out on coinmarketcap/coingecko's ICO/IDO calenders and see if you can spot anything good that's gonna launch.
Note: 99% of the shit you find on websites/calenders etc are super short term holds. Only long term coins I hold are btc,eth and bnb. Everything else is a quick flip for me.
If you find a good launch that's about to happen, you can score an easy 2-5x on launch day (due to initial hype and pump). Take initial+profits and leave a moonbag
On another side note, ignore that retard anon who suggested looking at CMC top losers.
CMC lists 10s of shitcoins everyday and for almost all of them, a CMC listing IS the exit pump. Chances are if some shitcoin on CMC has -95%'d, it's gonna stay dead.
