Even the idea that China will actually become the global superpower is ridiculous never mind India, Brazil, or whatever other shithole people propose. The countries are still laughably corrupt and backwards but the simple fact is that the western elites control the vast majority of the world's resources and they don't want to live in China or bend the knee to the ccp. Whether you think it's the Rothschilds, JP Morgan, the fed, or British monarchy, or whoever else the simple fact is they aren't going to suddenly lose everything. Nothing sort of violent revolution either internal or external will ever change that.

It already lost it. Deglobalization can't be stopped now, there will be no global hegemon, only local centers of power. USD is the last remnant of that old era, it will go soon. When it does it's truly over.

You're make a complete false equivalence between two entirely different paradigms. You could have used the British empire as a vaguely relevant example but the elites that controlled the British empire didn't stop being the elites they simply migrated to America and became more international. They will not, however, migrate to China and certainly not to India or Africa.

China dosen't want to be global hegemon, it wants 'Multi-Polarity', Which means U.S, Russia, EUro and in the future maybe India will be strong enough to duke it out with each other while they sell them shit.

Remember despite being commie, Chinese government guys basically view everyone outside the country as noble savage barbarians (they basically view their alliance with Russia like them bribing mongol tribes to fight each other).

China legit is more akin to George Washingtons ideal foreign policy of being 'At peace and aloft with the world, uninvolved in any other nations dispute'

i used to fall for the american exceptionalism meme. then i started realizing just how fat, stupid, and brown we've become. and how openly corrupt and worthless our leaders are.

It’s not that Thermotherapien will rise but the west is falling. Look at rome, Babylon. Beat for beat. You think India can’t catch up? Well what if part of I dis replaces Germany?
It’s over anon

There's this place called Israel maybe you've heard of it. It'll side with the winner, it won't go down with the hegemon the way you think it will.

Yeah it's kind of ridiculous but it's being pushed because the corporations tied to selling you the idea that there can be OTHER HEGEMONS can make them a lot of money.

one of the most glaring examples of this: our civilian and military leadership didn't consider the strategic importance of semiconductors until like 2 years ago. despite the transistor being the foundation of modern civilization for 50+ years.

It's not that China or India is rising, it's that the West is falling. They don't even have to do anything (although China is collapsing in tandem with the West).

The Jews controlling the West aren't particularly good at their jobs either. They're getting beat by China fair and square.

Xi Jinping supports the WEF because he knows they are corrupt shitheads leading the West into a dumpster but he doesn't sip the Kool Aid.

>look at these ancient empires from millennia ago!
I know it's cliche to say, but it legitimately is a new paradigm compared to then. We exist in a completely different world now to the point where you cannot even compare the most basic and fundamental industries; even food is imported from across the planet.

If you think that Israel will be some beacon of civilization in a sea of Brazil then you are completely blinded by /pol/. Yes, a lot of the elite are Jewish and yes their principle interests are Jewish ones but there is still a tremendous amount of resources and influence tied up in western institutions. This doesn't just apply to America, even Europe still enjoys benefits from its historical successes and as everything becomes more global the potential for these things to become disentangled diminishes.

usa still has the biggest power projection out of all other nations bar none. china and russia might try to close off their spheres but that still leaves western euro, africa, india, and s. america

>> No.49757915

The West already lost it a long time ago. Grain comes from Ukraine. Oil comes from Russia. Consumer goods come from China. Poopy come from India (jk but seriously they do service jobs for pennies on the dollar). The West hasn't produced anything, which is why it is doomed to be sick. The sick man of the Occident is the USA and the USD will no longer be the reserve currency of the world.

You underestimate how much even those things rely on foreign capital. The physical factories might be located in Taiwan but there is more to it than just this. I would think that basically everyone on /biz/ recognizes that intangible assets are still real assets and that what the west really deals in now. Some chink working in a sweatshop produces more in a month than a white woman working in hr does over her lifetime but the economy doesn't allocate resources based on this and it wont do ever again unless there is genuine total economic collapse.

Hillarious 90qi post. It is actually baffling to me that anyone, much less someone on /biz/, can look at the world today and still think that the most important part of any economy is basic industry. The largest companies on earth deal primarily in digital assets not potatoes and iron.

No it will be a place where all the "western" elites go and hodl their money. They'll find a way to leech on to the regional powers that emerge out of this. They always do
>tremendous amount of resources
Sure, US will never be dirt poor, it has all sorts of resources and it'll do fine. Europe though, not so rich in resources is it
>and influence tied up in western institutions
Yeah that means nothing now, all of those "international" institutions have lost trust and that's the only thing they've ever had. The only thing remaining is the USD itself.

So true, just look how countries like Pakistan are floundering because they can't get US dollars and how the Euro is plummeting while the dollar is fine.

>> No.49758260

That's just the milkshake playing out. First they run for the dollar because they need to service existing USD debts. DXY goes way up, as it is now. Then they never use the dollar again because they've learned how fucked they can get because of it, DXY goes way down. Well maybe not DXY since it only tracks the currencies of US colonies and those will fall before US. We already see China/Russia/Iran/India using local currencies to trade between each other, more and more of this will happen. Maybe not overnight but it's happening isn't it
>muh military
Use it or it's as pointless as all those nukes sitting around collecting dust
