How was DeFi in anyway a scam? The only true Defi stuff still works as advertised and has only improved over the past few years.

Aave, compound both work great. You can still swap tokens on balancer and uniswap. Curve had the scammy "curve wars" but now that we are in a bear market, curve will death spiral to zero most likely lol. The true Defi stablecoins like Dai and Rai work. Synthetix and GMX allow you to trade perps. Where is the scam? The token prices? Because some of these are already undervalued.
