If you want to store your seedphrase (or anything) in a digital format, take a photo of it with a digital camera with a new SD card.

Get a quality card that can withstand water damage and being run over. Most SanDisk are actually that durable. Now you have a digitized version that can withstand most hazards aside from fire and snapping it in half.

I wrote it down on a random jpeg using Microsoft paint and nested the image in a folder buried somewhere deep in like 2 GB of random memes/images. It's impossible for someone to break Veracrypt's encryption method, correct?

1.Get hardware wallet and new phrase. Enable 26 word encryption.
2. Buy two titanium plate and a dremel tool with needle bit. Write phrase but not 26th word you created
3.Cover plate with electric tape
4.Place in a plastic bag and freeze it under water
5.Repeat process but with 26th word only but hide it and don't freeze.

You only need to remeber pin and 1 word now. Robbers need both plates and won't expect 26th word. They will leave without beating you up.

keepass is better, vera is nice if you're storing a bunch of files, but once mounted any process can scan and access those files, like windows indexer that indexes text files for faster text search
keepass is a password manager that stores everything in an encrypted file which you can backup, it can for example protect text copied in clipboard from being accessed by other processes and more i'm too lazy to type

I'm sorry anon I'm just sick of having my trezor phrase writted on a piece of toilet paper on my desk and can't wrap my head around why encrypting + Cloud storage isn't secure. Especially since I didn't create a word document titled "CRYPTO SEED PHRASE". Even in the very unlikely scenario that my cloud storage credentials were compromised, AND my password to my encrypted folder were Compromised it would be almost impossible for a hacker to locate my seed phrase.

tell me more anon, what do you mean nested twice veracrypt container? Can you create an encrypted folder, mount it, and then create another encrypted folder inside of that one? How should I manage my encryption passwords? Memorize? Written in files discretely somewhere else?

I also have 3-4 SATA Drives laying around and I'm going to do the same with those drives and take them to family's house. All the drives just have random family photos/videos backed up to them and then the random Veracrypt file nested deep inside somewhere. And once you de-crypt, my key is writted on a JPEG using MS Paint.

So even if a hacker could keyword mine all my files he wouldn't find anything. You'd have to know the specific JPEG to go to in my metric fuck ton of memes to find it hand written out using MS Paint

I use KeePass. Set the encryption to use 8 parallelism and enough transformations that even on a 8-core i7 it takes 30 seconds for each password attempt thus making brute forcing much more difficult. Put the file on an encrypted virtual hard disk. Have it backed up to cloud storage. Haven't been rugged yet
