Especially since all of you have made good money in that timeframe while being so retarded you don't know how to behave during a bear market. I'm only 25 so there's much time left to make good money, but I'm afraid the golden crypto days are over. The next crazy bubble will be around 2040.

can't, locked in a Nexo collateralized loan and you can't redeem Nexo loans with XRP because of the SEC lawsuit otherwise i would have cashed tf out months ago

my life for the last month has been like that Edward Allen Poe story where the guy is tied to a table and there's a big axe swinging back and forth getting closer and closer to him. It's been incredibly obvious for months that I was going to lose everything. I took out the loan last September betting that the SEC case would end and XRP would pump, I was obviously wrong, now I'll lose everything I have saved obsessively for these last years.

I've literally lived off beans and rice, haven't bought new clothes or fixed my car, put every penny I earned into crypto and now I'm going to lose it all, I feel like a retard. Meanwhile I have a job and I'm running a nonprofit organization and I'm finishing a master's degree and I started a crypto project and basically I've been having these really severe panic attacks where I get dizzy and it gets hard to breathe and my fingers start tingling. Getting liquidated will actually be a relief as weird as it sounds.

The funniest part is, the SEC lawsuit is actually about to end when they release these emails, so right after I get liquidated for 172k XRP, it's going to do at least a 10x and I'll get to watch everyone in /xsg/ celebrate.

Sorry for blogposting. I'm having a hard time dealing with intrusive thoughts as I watch the price inch towards my liquidation level so blowing off some steam helps.

Hi mate. I'm entirely aware that I have nothing to offer you as advice that could help, so I'm not going to try. Just wanted to tell you that you're not alone, lots of us have been there, for many it's a rite of passage. I've gone from working a job I hated 55 hours a week for minimum wage doing something smelly, dangerous and soul-destroying, to being able to tell my boss to fuck off and feeling like a king for a year, to being a bum again, and everywhere inbetween. I'm doing much better now, in a sense, but there were moments when it seemed inevitable I was going to have to start completely fresh having burned my bridges, until I was inexplicably saved out of the blue. I've been close to breaking. It's terrible. I know that feeling, the tightness and constant worry, interspersed with moments of delusion and panic, which can be so intense that to go back to merely being depressed becomes a relief.
I don't know who you are anon, but I love you and I hope it all works out somehow. Good luck and God bless.

Same i was stucked at holding but holding solid gems wont get you worried because you know it will survive during bears. ICX and DOT will always survive. Now, am also considering on HXD, honeyland game seems so profitable in the long run.

Im 100% for real got in FTM at .5c-4c, AVAX at 3$-8$, and LINK at 1.50$-5$. I just grew so numb from previous dumps I didn't expect this. For example at one point my portfolio dumped from 1.2 MM to 200k and then pumped to ATH later. I end up selling too early when it pumps if I try to time the market so I just decided against it. I guess thats just the drawback of being too safe.

Not really that worried I have a job and live with my parents no debt (not too old still <25), just going to put some buy orders in for link.

You have 290k, you can easily live off that somewhere cheap for 5 years, maybe even stretch it to 10 if you go poverty mode. That's more than enough time to teach yourself some skills and get a well paid wagie job. Or to play vidya all day until the next bull run.

I have family that are retarded with money, they have literally 4 digit savings accounts and no investments. But they still go to their shitty wagie job for 40 hours a week without killing themselves somehow, so you're in a way better position than them. If you do end up becoming a wagie, having that amount invested puts you ahead a ton, to the point you can save/invest way more than most other people in that position, putting you even further ahead, and it gives you a massive safety net where you can tell your boss to fuck off if they're being an asshole.

It's not the first time everything has crashed, I should have cashed out at 3 MM knowing that it would have at the very least eventually crashed below that amount (not saying I would have bought in at the right time). I was just making like 2-3k a week on liquidity mining I felt I could justify holding. Live and learn I guess.

$120k to $19k, first crypto bull cycle.
Started selling very slim amounts of BTC at around $40k and bought index puts. About 3% of my portfolio only, so not much effect.

Part of me not selling was due to tax reasons, as I can sell tax free after 365 days in Germany and didn't want to give that cancerous government even one fuckin cent in taxes.

Learnings: hedge your fuckin coins, "losing" your short should be viewed as an insurance premium you have to pay.

Will kill it in the next cycle.
