I went to college. I don't even have debt. My parents are extremely well off and are supportive. I work as a Data Engineer. I make a pretty good salary for my age.
Every time I go to the grocery store recently, all of my food keeps increasing in price. It's gone up 80% at least since February.
My health insurance premium almost tripled this month from $62 to now $160 per bi-weekly paycheck. On a $70k salary I am basically living paycheck to paycheck after all of my bills are paid for as a single male living in suburban Chicago.
I am legitimately starting to panic bros. There is a knot in my stomach after going grocery shopping a bit ago and seeing the cost of everything increased again. What the fuck

Move cities. Look for other jobs for more income. Ask for a raise. Cut back on things you don't need.

this, I settled for an 87k offer after graduation in TN because it was a cheap state and I wanted property. I have literally never felt greater regret, I know two guys with worse grades / qualifications / etc than myself working at Meta and Citi Bank and I'm literally stacking pennies in some bullshit flyover state.

You're absolutely wrong. It has not gone up that much. A data engineer that cant even afford a 1 or 2 dollar increase. Yeah that economy is the problem LOL. How about you just work harder to get a better job?
