>> No.49339029

I am in crypto because this tech is the future of money. Its gonna be the best form of money that mankind has ever invented.

You cant counterfeit crypto. Think about it. You can transfer value around the world instantly. And if we code the coin economics properly there wont be inflation.

I'm in crypto because I am obviously quite impressionable, judging by the fact that when I browsed /pol/ I went full /pol/, I got over that and came here for /smg/ - then the rest of the crypto noise on the board pulled me in.
Now I have no stocks, no money. Only useless internet tokens.
It's funny, when you step back and look at your own life like this, I think I must be of extremely average intelligence.
But oh well, you can't take it with you, and the sun feels good on my back.

Majority of us are in for the tech and real life utilities it can offer and by this I mean alot of alts are fitting into the tech aspect of Crypto so well. AxlToken is one of those undervalued low cap gems with deep roots in well placed DeFi features and massive APYs, NFTs collections and lots more.

You're pretty good at classifying and identifying. But all these disadvantages of these projects don't mean that the OP is walking on the wrong path.
Blockchain tech is still relatively young. So there will be crappy blockchain architectures around. Some will be wiped from the face of the earth. But the good ones will keep delivering high-quality functions. Algorand, for example, has not experienced downtime once since it was launched. It's very fast, very scalable, and the greenest. It has recently become Fifa's official blockchain and will likely be the chain of choice for the US CBDC. Bad examples should not obscure good examples.

I'm in crypto for ethical and environmental reasons. The only reason the government can drop bombs in foreign countries and oppress people is having their fiat money that they can print out of thin air. If bitcoin were the default currency, they couldn't afford to do that.

Also, the whole entire banking industry uses too much resources and is bad for the environment. They have thousands upon thousands of banks and banking based accounting buildings filled with computers, airconditioning, and require thousands of people to drive to them every single day. Crypto makes them obsolete, they can close these businesses and stay home
