well if it's offline, there is no way for the coins to arrive, you understand that right? The transfers are normally quite fast, depending on how many requests the website gets. I can't find a crypto thread so Ima post here.

These are my alts I have:
DOGE, DRK, GRC, PND, MRO/XMR, ANC, XC, VIA

I'm thinking of selling all to BTC because I'm just not obsessive/clever enough to speculate properly. And BTC is only one I truly believe in long term. But is there any in those I really should keep?

most I lost money on except DRK and MRO which pushed me a little into profit. So kinda tempted to keep those two.

>> No.476789

PND obviously. Bitcoin is the main currency because it was the first one, but it has many flaws (instamined/fastmined/very very slow transactions,ASICS,...)

XMR will eventually be knocked out of the ring by BBR so I wouldnt hold onto it too long

And I honestly believe PND is a solid long term investment so I`d definitely stick with that

PND is the only coin simple enough to succeed in the mass market, that also has a team of genuine professions responsible for its security, while also having a coin limit large enough that you could deal in whole pandacoins rather than the 0.00000000008767 business which only scares people away

On top of this it seems like the team has a serious business plan which includes expansion into the chinese market, if the chinese start to use this coin( if they are going to use any it will be this one) the success of the coin will be guaranteed

The glossy rebranding is also pretty important, no-one wants a coin that looks like shit and the PND GUI is the most consistent and intuitive Ive come across

I think unless another coin comes out soon that has more mass market appeal >10 cents is VERY likely, which is enough to make a good profit, 50 cents is very possible but one dollar is a big benchmark to hit so... I would be surprised lets say

You have to remember that PND was designed to be a widespread currency so the designers tried to prevent coins from becoming megavaluble so that people wernt dealing in 0.00000001`s of a PND- this means that while coins wont ever soar in price like bitcoins- you can acquire them much more easily than you could aquire bitcoins before they got popular

>> No.477226

Im no expert on mining- if you have any GPU made in the last 5 years youll be able to mine PND no problem

The easiest thing to do is to download the miner and run it for 9 hours (the first payout can take up to 9 hours to appear, after that it is every 4 hours)

It automatically connects you to a pool so you literally just paste in your address and leave your comp running 9 hours- you can even run it in the background although obviously it will slow down certain functions of your computer (games) quite a lot while its running

Think about this: crypto is a factory of paper saying "Panda".

This paper is worth something? No.

>But if you hear a person or a bank is paying for those papers written "Panda", it is worth something?

It is worth how much the person is paying fire it. But if the person stop buying those papers, no value anymore.
Third is what happens today, the anons mining here are selling/probably are going to sell to the ones who think is worth.
This is value, real value, but yet unstable (if people don't get want anymore here goes the value).

The reason other types if money we know are worth at the point if people recognizing its value its rooted on the times before Ww1, where money was linked to gold.

Since people knew how much their work, food and everything else was worth in gold, they starting making money which you could trade as gold later.
Long story short, money (dollar, euro, etc) is not linked to gold, but we know how much it violated to real things we need and work to afford.

When I said it needs fund pensions or other shit to start being a usable currency, its because anyone who sell their coins will be able to convert to the "normal" money, therefore, coins are worth dollars (or euros, yens, you get out), just like the dollars were worth gold, and gold were worth work or products.

Biggest variable on how big the marketcap would be China. Sure it can go mainstream, but look at bitcoin struggling in this department, maybe PND could change that.

But China is 20% of the world's population. Their gov has banned BTC but it didn't stop them from buying so much BTC

Forgot to mention that there's no crypto that is being aimed at both China and making it general population friendly.

When the price is high enough how do you planning to sell it?

>> No.480090

>>480088
the only thing you sell is the interest you get, selling all your coins would be incredibly stupid :P

>> No.480092

>>480090
why? and how to sell it when the price is high enough?

>> No.480093

>>480092
1) Selling out is bad because the price may keep rising. As long as you're earning interest, free money.

2) Use an exchange.

I just came here because doge is going up again, hoping for some fun times like when doge started out.
But man, /biz/ sucks and these threads are dumb.

Because he's a shibe and expects people to talk about "doge" and "moon" in every topic, even though it will crash hard again once people realize that the new mining doesn't solve anything.
Then he'll be butthurt not investing in PND instead

>> No.480285

What's your plan? do you want to buy a lot of PND now and hope that the price go up and then sell everything?

Did you not just listen, you sell the interest not your coins.

How many coins do you have?

2.5% interest isn't much

>> No.480307

>>480289
depends how many coins you have, go ahead and buy some to start off but only sell the interest

>> No.480353

I think your plan is good, but if they hit a dollar, I'd sell it all. $2.5mil would set me for life (IF it hits $1).

>> No.480355

>>480289
i get about 10,000 pnds every couple of days,
just imagine if it hit the $1 mark or even $.1 would be fine for not really doing anything
it's worth holding in the long run

Hold your interest too. This will be bigger than dogecoin ever was in China.

If it hits 1 I'll sell a quarter and keep mining in case they go up. My plan is to always keep a quarter unless the coin is ded

>> No.480398

>>480391
That's silly, then there's no free money, if it gets big enough I'll sell for a couple mil and keep a quarter and then keep selling interest

I suppose $750k would do me just as well as a mil.

How do you go about keeping the tax man out of your pockets?
