It isn't tradable yet, and probably won't be until December. You can just buy IOUs on hitbtc but they're 3/4x ICO price so I'd probably hold out until it hits exchanges properly.

I'll make a prediction based on experience, and I urge you to see if it sticks: prices will grow slightly above ICO for the first week, then continue to trend down for months, perhaps up to half a year before finding a floor and consolidating for a further few months. It is from here, roughly 60-80% below ICO price that the real accumulating actually begins as disillusioned flippers start selling bags to scavenge what little they still can. From this new floor, prices will eventually begin steadily gaining upwards momentum, intermittently pumping or shaking out weak hands. Then after, say, a year or less, the self-assured "smart money" investors start picking up the signs of a good value buy and the increased volume eventually attracts more fruitflies to the winebottle. The last stage of each of these systematically growing pumps is always the hysteric normies on /biz/ and reddit and other social media channels, who are whipped into a frenzy and who further incite FOMO in the rest of the normies like a chain reaction.

It is at this point that the biggest dumps usually occur, yanking the token/coin into the next big fud cycle, tearing prices down for months at a time until an organic floor is found yet again, resetting the process.

This is done with pretty much every bigger and "notable" project. Locap coins are merely peripheral noise for these people, usually exploited by amateur pump and dump groups with 100-1000 members with a combined 25 BTC at best between them, dumping on eachother after a mere 15 minutes of pumping.
