It's good PR and develops ties in the community.

Part of Metaverse's plan is to develop decentralized applications for clients without the technical expertise. They have a larger team than NEO to accomplish this. This absolutely requires community outreach and promotion of their brand. Maybe this will show up in local news - maybe a company will see this and hire them to write an app.

So on a personal level I approve of it, but from a business standpoint it's smart. By developing decentralized applications in-house, they could soon have more apps built on Metaverse than NEO.

I mean, this is a biz board, but obviously most of you guys don't have much business expertise. There's a reason companies march in parades, sponsor events, donate to charity, and it isn't solely out of the goodness of their heart. A lot of these crypto businesses don't necessarily require outreach because their growth doesn't depend on acquiring clients per se, but for those that do?
